Happy Thanksgiving!

On Thanksgiving Day we drove down to Virginia Beach, but Braden first had to have some fun in the leaves in the front yard.

Braden enjoyed playing with all the family... he showed them his toys, danced and sang, and gave many family members new nicknames.

We also took a family trip to the Oceanfront to see the Christmas lights. Of course, Mumba required that we all go in the same car so she ended up in the trunk of the Expedition. Needless to say Papa, Big Papa, Nana, Braden, and Ma were the only ones with comfortable seats. The rest of us were cramped in the way back...

Fun Family Time

We had a great morning with the Ritner family at the Yankee Candle Factory (a giant candle store in Williamsburg that is also somewhat of a theme park). Santa arrived, there were pony and carriage rides, singing animals, and of course Braden's favorite - a train that travels through tunnels and walls on a raised track throughout the store which he stared at the entire time. Yes, Kristyn and Bryce wore foam reindeer hats.

Braden and Addy also enjoyed their "date" to Arbys.

Braden has made a smooth transition to his "big boy bed" we thought this might be difficult since he loves his crib so much, but he is thrilled with the new bed and sleeps just as well in it. He also doesn't yet realize that he could easily get out of the bed, instead just as he did with the crib, when he wakes up he plays in his bed for a little while and then calls to us and says "up up". We don't have the bed rails yet so for now his mattress is just on the floor which he loves b/c he enjoys jumping into the bed each time he runs into his room.

Rozy also loves the new bed being on the floor. (easy access for her as well) Last night we had to forceably remove Rozy from a sound sleep for fear she would wake Braden up in the middle of the night. It was pretty cure watching the two of them sleep next to each other though...

Virginia Beach Weekend

We had fun in VA Beach this weekend. We celebrated Ma's 88th birthday... Bryce, Sydney, Eric, and Papa ran a 5K ... and we had fun playing with cousin Collin.
